Read and memorize this first!
The generator can hurt you!
1. If the generator has
been running, let it cool before attempting to check the
engine.
2. Secure or remove any
loose clothing before attempting to start the generator.
(Don't, however, work naked)
3. Avoid contact with
exposed AC or DC wiring.
4. All liquids used by the
generator may be hot, corrosive, or under pressure. Wear
appropriate protective equipment.
5. Disconnect from the
utility or the generator before attempting to service or
adjust electrical components.
6. Before attempting to
service the generator, disable the engine by turning it
off and disconnecting the negative battery
terminal.
7. All engines use
flammable and explosive fuels.
- Make sure area is
well ventilated
- Clean up any spilled
fuel before attempting repair
- Always check fuel
system for leaks before attempting any repair or
adjustment.
